ATTENTION STUDENTS

 RECHECKING / I GRADE APPLICATIONS

1.     T1  THE STUDENTS CAN APPLY FOR RECHECKING AND I-GRADES EXAMINATION PAPERS OF SPRING 2010 SEMESTER WITHIN THREE DAYS AFTER THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULT OF THE RESPECTIVE COURSES.

 2.     THE APPLICATIONS FOR AN ‘I’ GRADE SHOULD BE SUPPORTED BY A WRITTEN EVIDENCE AS TO WHY HE/SHE COULD NOT APPEAR IN THE EXAMINATION. THE ORIGINAL CLEARANCE SLIP MUST ALSO BE ATTACHED WITH THE APPLICATION.

 IN THIS CONNECTION PLEASE CAREFULLY NOTE THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:

 A)     THE RECHECKING WILL BE FOR FINAL PAPERS (WRITTEN EXAM) ONLY AND NOT FOR ASSIGNMENT MARKS.

 B)     THE FEE FOR RECHECKING IS RS.1000/- AND FEE FOR             “I” GRADE IS RS.2000/- PER COURSE.

 C)    IF I-GRADE IS APPLIED THROUGH E-MAIL THE PROPER I-GRADE APPLICATION MUST BE FILLED AND DEPOSITED WITH THE EXAMINATION DEPARTMENT TILL 13TH OF JULY 2010.

 ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS

ATTENDANCE

The students are reminded to carefully note the following instructions in connection with their attendance:-

(a)    100% class attendance is mandatory for the students to enable them to appear in the Final Examination.

(b)    However, in case of an emergency / serious illness the students will be eligible to 02 (two) leaves during the whole semester. The leave application must be supported by valid evidence / medical documents.

(c)    The students should check their attendance every week and immediately contact Examination Department for correction, if any.

(d)    The students should not change their signatures and sign the attendance sheet as per their signatures registered at the time of registration.

(e)    They must be punctual/regular in their attendance and should not be late for more than ten minutes, otherwise they will be marked absent. However, this concession is not allowed in the 2nd half. The students must rejoin the class immediately after 15 minutes break is over.

(f)    A student marked absent in any one half (out of two) will be treated absent for the whole class.

(g)    Students must check from the computer placed at the Examination Department whether leave application has been approved or not. This should be done within two days after the date of submission of application. Mere submission of leave application does not guarantee approval of the application.

The above Rules regarding attendance are to be strictly observed and no relaxation will be given under any circumstances.
