Conscious of the fact that the human resource constitutes the most precious
asset of Pakistan, we aim to produce individuals who are equipped to cope
with the challenges of life, in a world where only the fittest can survive.
In the new world order which has now emerged, Pakistan is poised to play
a major role as a bridge between the Islamic block, and the industrialized
countries of the world. To meet these challenges, Pakistan needs men and
women who are not only equipped with the knowledge of modern times, but are
also steeped in our rich Islamic traditions. It augers well for the future
of our country that education generally, and higher education in particular,
is now finally getting the priority it deserves at the hands of education
planners in the government. But in order to meet the rapidly expanding
requirements of our business and industry, government efforts need to be
augmented by the private sector universities. We at Greenwich are fully
alive to this need, and determined to contribute our bit towards the
development of our beloved country. We invite all those who share this
vision, to join us in promoting this noble cause. |

There is a growing realization in our society about the importance of
education, particularly higher education. But sadly, there seems to be a
lack of clarity as to the aims and objectives of university education. The
qualitative difference between college and university education is often
lost sight of. The learner is reduced to a mere passive recipient of
knowledge-loads of facts and figures! We at Greenwich approach teaching
differently.
Our system is learner-centered rather than teacher-centered. We try to
develop the critical and creative faculties of our students, with a view to
developing their latent potential to the optimum. The basic objective is to
help them develop their skills in problem - solving, both at their place of
work and in their homes. It needs to be appreciated that in this age of
information explosion, facts and figures are at everyone's finger tips, thanks to the computer. But the more challenging aspect of education is to
teach an individual how to cope with different kinds of stress which form an
inescapable part of our lives. We try to inculcate the value of not only
performing one's individual responsibilities efficiently, but also being a good team
player. We teach and train them to develop their tolerance levels, and learn
to respect, rather than resent, healthy criticism.
