Q. What is the entrance requirement for M.Phil Program?
A. Masters Degree.
Q. What is the requirement for Ph.D Program?
A. M.Phil / MS Degree with 3.0 GPA on a scale of 4.0 and in the annual system first division is required.
Q. What is the degree requirement for M.Phil degree?
A. Course work of 8 courses (24 credit hours), Dissertation (6 credit hours).
Q. Is it necessary to attached research Proposal?
A. Yes. A candidate seeking admission into MS/M.Phil. must submit a research proposal (about 1,000 words) with the application, which may focus on:
a) Specification of the broad field of study
b) Statement of the research problem and scope and objectives of the study c) The rationale for and the significance of the study
d) The candidate’s research / work experience in that area, if any, and e) The methodology to be followed.
Q. What are the days and timing of the classes?
A.Classes are on Saturday & Sunday
Q. What is the admission criterion?
A. 1. The candidate is required to appear in Greenwich University Placement Test and Interview.
2. Students who have passed NTS test will be exempted from appearing in test. However, they will have to appear for the Interview.
3. The test comprise of the following sections:
– Section I English + Communication Skills
– Section II Subject Knowledge and Application
The candidate will be required to score at least 50% marks in section I and section II separately to become eligible for consideration for provisional admission.
Q. Is hostel facility available?
A. We do not have hostel facility in the campus. However, on request it can be accommodate in the nearest vicinity on a walking distance by the administration.
Q. Can I make an appointment with or email an academic member of staff to discuss my research proposal?
A. Yes, we need application in writing for the same.
Q. What is the admission Procedure to MS./ M.Phil. / Ph.D Program?
A. Admission are made on the basis of the application form, research proposal, transcripts and references, Interview. Provisional admission will be given to students without NTS score.
Q. Do I need to submit GRE or GMAT results to be considered for the MPhil/PhD?
A. The GRE subject test is required for the Ph.D admission with 50% passing marks. GMAT is not required.
Q. What is the tuition fee?
A. Tuition fee per course is 15000. Registration and other fees are written in the fee structure. Up-to-date information about fees is available before the beginning of each financial year/semester.
Q. Do you offer any financial assistance for your M.Phil / Ph.D program?
A. Financial assistance facility is available for deserving students. You have to apply for financial assistance to the committee.
Q. Is it necessary that GAT test should be qualified with minimum of 50% cumulative score before admission into the M.Phil/M.S program?
A. GAT test conducted by the National Testing Service is required to be qualified with a minimum 50% score at the time of admission or within two semester of course work of M.Phil./M.S. program.
Q. What does a Public Defense mean?
A. The defense is done in a public presentation in which teachers, students, and the general public can participate. The Scholar presents his/her Research Work and answers the questions of the audience. Public thesis defense is mandatory, in the presence of a board of senior researchers, consisting of members from an outside organization or university.
Q. Who is responsible for sending the thesis to foreign evaluators for evaluation?
A. The university send the thesis to foreign Evaluators for the evaluation.

Q. What is the minimum duration to cover Ph.D course work?
A. Course work of 18 credit hours preferably in the first year is required to be completed and followed by a comprehensive examination for granting candidacy as Ph.D researcher.
Q. Is Ph.D Dissertation is mandatory to sent foreign expert evaluator?
A. The Ph.D. Dissertation must be evaluated by at least two Ph.D. experts from technologically/academically advanced foreign countries in addition to local Committee members.
Q. Is Open defense is mandatory in Ph.D Dissertation?
A. An open defense of Dissertation is essential part of Ph.D Program.
Q. Research Paper is necessary to publish in HEC “X” category Journal?
A. Acceptance/publication of at least one research paper in an HEC approved “X” category journal is a requirement for the award of Ph.D. degree (“Y” in case of Social Sciences only).
Q. Is, Plagiarism Test is mandatory before submitting the Dissertation?
A. The Plagiarism Test must be conducted on the Dissertation before its submission to the two foreign experts.
Q. Is, the Copy of PhD Dissertation is mandatory to submit HEC?
A. A copy of Ph.D. Dissertation (both hard and soft) must be submitted to HEC for record in Ph.D. Country Directory and for attestation of the PhD degree by the HEC.
